With the start of Football season, Fall baseball, and Fantasy Football you would think one could get a quick break from worrying about the Zags, if only for a second. But the Mods just have to create fake international players who commit, won't be let in the government, get chosen for the national team, and have no real tie to Gonzaga except a T-shirt picture and "Translated" docs from the Google. Bravo on bumping up the hits on this site.

Germany is down 64-50 with 6 mins left in the game. Elias has fouled out with 3 points, shooting 1-1.
Ain't this fun, Elias?
I suppose it would be some sort of NCAA violation if we staged a basketball chivaree, only this time instead of a bride, we snatch up our prized recruit and spirit him over the threshhold at McCarthey Athletic Center. Maybe Dennis Rodman could loan us his wedding dress and veil for a disguise to smuggle him out of Germany to the safety of Zag country._______________________________

I think everyone here kind of needs to lighten up on Elias. He has the opportunity to represent his country at the highest level of basketball possible. Something tells me that if Matt or Meech was selecting the USA national team at the highest level, and it forced him to miss two weeks of schools, people might react differently. This is obviously a big deal for Elias, and for all we know, he could have an agreement setup that he won't play with Germany after this tournament. Perhaps everyone should relax and be proud of Elias for playing for the German National Team at the age of 20!!!!! That's quite the accomplishment and we should be rooting for him wherever he is playing.

Regardless of any concerns about how the team will fair next fall w/o Elias in uniform, I think we all support Elias, recognize and appreciate his incredible opportunity, and wish him nothing but the best. What are you doing, Adam? Do you even know how many people go blind from pizza shrapnel?

The Coach likes how Elias is Playing
"We showed a very decent performance, and after the effort yesterday against the Turks made a good game," summed up the coach.
"I've been aware of the young players today, the early chance to prove himself against a medal contender at the European Championships and they have done their job very well."
Especially three players, the coach stressed: "The performance of Konrad Wysocki today was very pleasing, Tibor Pleiss has played great and Elias Harris has done very well. Now we are looking forward to the semi-finals tomorrow."The Kennel: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
