Wow. Tough crowd.
Interesting to note over the years that the best players frequently aren't very good coaches. I posit it's because elite athletes just can't understand why their less talented players can't do the things that came natural during their playing days. That's why the best coaches are ones that are able to relate to the work required to compete at a high level.
As an addendum. Most were excited when Stoudamire and Porter were announced as coaches in the WCC. Not me. Sure, it brought name recognition and a certain amount of credibility, but I've seen way too many instances where it didn't translate to a successful program. I'm not saying those two won't turn their programs around, but I would be pleasantly surprised. It takes a commitment like Few and company display and I'm not sure those two are willing to invest that deeply.
