I can verify that DirecTV Stream's channel guide (Gig Harbor, WA) is showing 2 Root channels with the Kraken on one, the Zags on the other. No VPN monkey-business required.

I just checked. Even the Spokane the Comcast guide shows the Merrimack game on 421 SD and 1253 HD. Thanks Club Prez

Can I assume that if one lives in an area (such as Washington State) that gets ROOT (or ROOT Plus) on cable, then the Watch Stadium option is blacked out for you guys? I don't agree with that policy, but it makes sense.

Pretty sure I am out luck. In Portland, with Hulu Live so no access to root sports, nor AT&T. I’m betting the watch stadium feed and KHQ feed block me out.

I truly, truly, feel for you guys that are in WA and OR and are caught between a rock and a hard place. I don't get ROOT, but am far enough away so that Watch Stadium isn't blocked for me. I could care less that my stream is 2 or 3 minutes behind; it's a blessing that I can get a local KHQ game at all.

It’s just nuts that they black it out. Not like I can just drive to the game and watch it live.

Yeah, it switched over to the game. Lots of kinks so far with the broadcast. Screen has gone black multiple times but luckily only during commercials.
