Hunter is a much better contributor than just 1 month ago, like he knows he's that good and he's settled more now and playing like every time out there he's out to earn and prove he deserves it. Growing budding confidence. It's happening to the whole team seems to me and he's right in the middle of it with all of them

Agree - one more year for those two as well as Sallis AND Timme...who would be our starting PF...Watson?

Hopefully the littles are set for next season with: Hickman, Harris, Sallis, Strawther.....could see Zags playing some small ball lineups with all these guys on the floor together and a big boy big (or Timme!).Even though I care a lot about my basketball opinions, they are like comparing a bicycle to a championship motorcycle who is our coach. . Zags will definitely need an experienced, quality, plug and play post player for next season if both Timme and Holmgren are gone.

New article on top 25 recruiting classes for 2022 at espn.com. It's paid content though sorry. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...as-rise-top-10
Punch line: GU is not mentioned which makes sense with just 1 commitment.
I would like to think that our days of overachieving with with mid-major recruiting classes are behind us. Staff has been amazing with getting top HS recruits in the past 5 years along with quality transfers and some under the radar types. It's really hard to make a Final 4 without lottery-pick level talent.

Gregg has a ways to go, and even if Perry was healthy, he's still raw.....
We are going to have a very intriguing vacancy or two to fill at the PF/C positions next season. A showcase opportunity possibly, or an opportunity to be showcased by guards that know how to.

It is my opinion that for Timme to be a first round draft pick, his 3-pt shooting would have to improve, because as several have stated he does not posses the athleticism required for the NBA UNLESS he has the ability to drain 3-pointers. Luka Garza was drafted and he is getting minutes and seems to be able to play at that level and he is no where as talented a big compared to Timme; however, Garza can shoot the 3-ball.
I would bet that Timme comes back for one more year as he does have two years of eligibility remaining due to the COVID year in 2020.
If I'm wrong then we would need two bigs from the transfer list since Gregg and Perry will not be ready to carry the load with only Watson.
