Auburn doesn’t win if Ty Ty doesn’t go down. Major inflection point.

GU would beat both these teams but it’d be fun.

Auburn winning against Kentucky. I thought Kentucky could take them. However, Auburn owned the paint and Kentucky made too many silly fouls on three point shots. Without Wheeler and Ty Ty there is a considerable drop off in talent for Kentucky. I bet Auburn goes to number 1 next week.

Auburn will be the new AP #1, and they deserve it. Fluff poll anyways, they won't top us in KenPom. And Bruce Pearl is still the slimiest coach in all of CBB.

Auburn won this one at the FT line (80+%). Hard to judge how good they really are as UK played most of the 2nd half without their starting backcourt. Still no flow on offense for Auburn and WAY too much dribbling. Hard to figure out why Cal wasn't able to counteract the lob to Kessler for the dunk, Auburn did that 8+ times.

              Jabari Smith can play.............

The slime line in CBB forms behind Cal, way behind Cal. Has for decades..................Watching this game simply reinforced that observation.

Good antidote to that SEC krap, turn to Army Navy for real student athletes. No NIL, thank you, sir.

I watched a game at Navy in Annapolis (Veterans classic during Veterans Day weekend which features four teams with one being Navy) a few years ago and there is a lot of history and surreal ness with the environment of being there. Would encourage anyone to get on campus and watch either a basketball or football game.

The best of us. My son played there four years while at Lafayette. It doesn’t get any better.

Auburn is a legit team, deserve the #1 ranking they will probably get. I can't stand Pearl, cand stand him. Hopefully this will keep some fuel in the fellas.

Think the hate for Pearl is a little strong for bringing a recruit to a BBQ. He is great for college hoops and has taken Auburn from irrelevant to a Final Four and now a top ranking. Pretty impressive!

"Bringing a recruit to a BBQ":

The NCAA Committee on Infractions on Friday placed the Auburn men's basketball program on four years' probation and suspended coach Bruce Pearl for two games after saying he failed to adequately monitor former assistant coach Chuck Person and did not promote an atmosphere of compliance.

The long-anticipated ruling comes more than four years after Person was arrested and charged in September 2017 with accepting bribes from a financial adviser who was working as an informant for the federal government.

Pearl, who has a 145-93 record in eight seasons at Auburn, is the first head coach to be penalized in a case related to the federal investigation. It's the second time he has been sanctioned by the NCAA; he was given a three-year show-cause penalty in 2011 after allegedly misleading investigators about his program's impermissible contact with recruits while coaching at Tennessee.

Ghost town in Malibu and the Dons race out to an early lead. Nothing surprising here.
