Game Thread: Alcorn State 11.15.2021

Gonzaga gets a visit from Alcorn State, the alma mater of star QB Steve McNair. Alcorn St is coming off of some tough battles with Seattle U and Portland, but is really ramping up its challenge with GU. Biggest challenge for GU is generating some sort of energy for the game after the Kennel's Thunder Dome atmosphere of Saturday.

I like the way Coach Few takes nothing for granted. He's seen the way Alcorn plays and will adjust for that. Same for Bellar-cake this Friday. I know he's just saying what the radio audience wants to hear, but it's the truth. The one rule of CBB, is don't underestimate your foe. Look what happened to Cal-Berkely last Tues.

Sloppy game so far, but we have a big lead, go figure. Honestly, I am starting to lose focus on these cupcake games, no wonder I drink heavily during them.
