Some positives....

Spokane and Canberra are about the same size, so I think that Alex might find the atmosphere ideal.

Canberra is often colder than most of Australia and does get snow, so I don't see the climate as a big deal to him

Alex picked a beautiful time to visit. Cold, windy, rainy...with a chance of snow. What else is a kid to do but play Basketball! No sarcasm. Seems like a Gonzaga style player, hope to learn more about him.
