Awesome! He seems like a well grounded young dude, and will fit in well with our other guys. I think it's cool we can get this talent from out of the area; reminds me when Lute (RIP sir) would get a ton of talent that was not from Arizona. Other than Sean Elliot, how many blue-chippers did we have that were actually from Tucson? I can't think of any offhand.
The NBA playoffs, a best of 7 is always better than a best of 1.
huff's number one ranked team won 74-59
huff with 31 and 7...aj casey with 20 and 7
doesn't get much respect nationally but more than one local guy views huff #1 in the state (#5 @247)
a little more versatile than gregg...looks to have better handles
not chet, who is? but poor man's olynyk reasonable comp right now
He's underrated by the national media and some on this board do not even consider him a good pickup (note complaints about "no impact bigs" in next years recruiting class).
I agree with the KO comparison, but think he is further along than Kelly was at this stage (not saying that he'll be better).
Braden will be a very good player for GU. I still think we need a banger. Yes we have Perry and hope we get his health in check but if not we need an athlete, some physicality mixed with skill. Hopefully all the above.
Extended highlights from the last game, against another top-5 team in the state that features AJ Casey. I haven't had a chance to see more than a couple of minutes, but I prefer this kind of clip as it gives a better feel for a player's involvement in the game.

Pretty cool. Braden looks really good. Well-rounded in his skill set. Looks like he could play and defend multiple positions. A true position-less player. Can put the ball on the floor with good handles and can pass well. Can shoot the three very well. Moves smoothly in the paint. Excited to have him on scholarship.
