I feel positive that Hickman and Sallis will be back; however, Smith has not indicated he will return and we don't know about Harris' feelings on returning for his sophomore season...so we could use another 5* guard "IF" he wants to play at GU. I'm guessing but think Coach Few will reach out in the Transfer Portal for possibly a guard and a big...

What is it that he is looking for? If it is guaranteed PT, that is earned with Gonzaga. NIL? Who Knows.

Is he going to be much better than what Hickman has developed into?

Whatever the reason, Illini twitter was vicious. I might've missed some anecdotes, but I thought Gonzaga's fanbase was generally supportive of Brock Ravet, and respectful of his privacy.

As soon as it leaked there were fans all over Twitter and Reddit dumping on him, saying his defense is terrible, his numbers were bad, he was supplanted as a starter, etc. Might be kind of weird for him to return to Illinois after all that. Stephen Bardo thinks he's leaving because his parents are pulling him from the program. Time will tell.

man I hope so. Not seeing what his stats at Illinois were looking like but if he's a good fit, I believe we have a need of a high level PG next year or sooner. Let Hickman play off the ball, let Smith do his thing as he gets more and more comfortable, but we need a real PG badly.
