Spring week celebration at Western Washington State College, in Bellingham circa 1967.
Jack Kerouac was up with the Merry Pranksters, Ginsberg, Ken Kesey and others held poem readings, get togethers etc.
      Music concert was Jefferson Airplane.

It was a memorable time. I am glad to have experienced it and to have lived through it.

A ton of concert announcements have been going out for the last month or so. Several have gotten my attention, but this is the first one I pulled the trigger on. Playing a small venue in Seattle in early October. I'm kinda surprised, I would've expected her to be in a bigger space. I got a promo code for a presale, tickets are expected to go fast, so I jumped on it. She has a new album coming out next month. This is from her previous release.

Zora is simultaneously terrifying and alluring in this video. I've liked just about all of their songs, but this is one of their best IMO.

Okay. I've heard a bit of The HU. Just ran across them covering a Metallica song. Who knew it would sound so good in Mongolian, as a folk metal song. Interesting.

This song was originally from the movie "Lost Boys." Marilyn Manson covered it fairly recently. Here's another brand new take on it, from Chvrches, from an upcoming Netflix movie.

The stage names some young female singers use lately crack me up. This is Soccer Mommy. Snail Mail and Mallrat are a couple others along the same vein.

The Pretty Reckless' latest album is all over the place stylistically. This song has guest appearances from Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron, so not surprisingly has a Soundgarden vibe to it.

Yup. And with a certain look.
