I don't know if it's thriving or not. Just because you're swamped doesn't necessarily mean all is well...... I'm not close enough (thank God) to the Man to really be in the know. To some extent I have an operational philosophy of "ignorance is bliss."

                • This week marks the beginning of the process of moving staff from our corp Hqs to my manufacturing plant. . .I suspect it will be the equivalent of "Extreme Makeover" but without the copious amounts of hair products and makeup. . .

                  I'm doomed.

                          • The world's best-equipped army has revealed one of the more closely guarded and, one must hope, private items in its armoury – pink underpants.

Scrambling to raise himself from sleep during a Taliban attack high in the Afghan hills, Zachary Boyd, a soldier with the First Brigade, grabbed his automatic gun, helmet and bulletproof jacket.

But in his haste he left behind his combat trousers – showing to the world that below the belt he was fighting in nothing more protective than "I love NY" boxer shorts.
Boyd, 19, an army specialist from Texas, called his mother, Sheree, to forewarn her.

"He said, 'I hear the Times is what they put on the president's desk,'" she said. "Then he told us, 'I may not have a job anymore after the president has seen me out of uniform.'"

Sheree Boyd said she was not surprised to see her "Zacho" in pink underpants.

"It was typical," she said. "He has always been an interesting little character."

That's a great flick! It's also at Hulu if you want to see it there.
